Sakura Kitty
Sakura Kitty is an Heirloom doll made from Essex linen. She has wool felt eyes and hand embroidered details. Her legs are made from linen woven at Styall Mill in Cheshire. Her linen and wool felt boots are sewn in place.
Her romper is made from hand dyed linen and Liberty of Londob tana lawn fabric. It has a patch pocket and tiny button details.
her hat is wool felt, blanket stitched all around by hand. it fastens under her chin with a vintage button and a little shirring elastic. The ears are made from linen and lined with Liberty Tana Lawn cotton. The flowers are made from florist wire, beads, wool felt and florist tape. the flowers are hand painted with gouache.
Heirloom dolls have button jointed arms and legs. They are stuffed with carded lambswool and contain armature wire so they can be posed.
14” (ish) cat doll (excluding hat), wired with aluminium wire, and stuffed with wool roving. Beeswax blush to the cheeks. You can remove the clothes carefully.
