May is a classic 14” cloth kitty doll, beautifully handmade from yarn dyed linen with hand-embroidered details. She has button-jointed arms. Her legs are made of Japanese woven cotton. Her clothes are made from delicate gauze cotton and fine shirting fabrics with handstistched vintage trims.

This kitty has a wool-felt hat in beige marl and linen ears. It is blanket-stitched by hand and fastened with a vintage button and a little shirring elastic. Two delicately handcrafted life-size stems of may blossom, stitched atop the hat, are made with wool felt, glass beads, and florist wire and can be posed gently.

The boots are made from linen and wool felt, with waxed linen thread laces. the boots cannot be removed.

There is a loop of strong thread at the back of the doll, should you wish to display her on your wall.

14” cat doll (excluding hat), wired with aluminium wire, and stuffed with wool roving. Beeswax blush to the cheeks. You can remove the clothes carefully.
