Betsy Green

Sensitive Betsy Green enjoys the sunshine but finds the fickle spring weather too chilly for playing outside and would prefer to stay home with a good book.

Betsy Green is a classic 14” cloth kitty doll, beautifully handmade from Japanese shot cotton in kelp green with hand-embroidered details. She has button-jointed arms. Her legs, made of bright pink vichy/gingham, compliment her pretty Liberty Tana Lawn romper, which has patch pockets and covered faux buttons.

This kitty has a wool-felt hat in pea green. It is blanket-stitched by hand and fastened with a button and a little shirring elastic. Two delicately handcrafted life-size African Daisies, stitched atop the hat, are made with florist wire and can be posed gently.

14” cat doll (excluding hat), stuffed with wool roving and beeswax blush to the cheeks; you can remove the clothes carefully.
